Gentle Hatha Yoga is a practice for those who are looking for a gentle, more restorative class.

The wonderful thing about this type of class is it is ideal for everyone, from complete beginners to more experienced practitioners. In this class we teach classical Hatha Yoga, with an emphasis on relaxation and rejuvenation.

Gentle and Restorative classes for health and wellbeing

Props may be used during the class, so that the body can experience the benefits of a posture without having to exert any effort.

Because the emphasis is on being a Gentle and Restorative class it will leave you feeling calm and deeply relaxed. So it’s perfect for anyone suffering from stress and anxiety, anyone who may have problems sleeping or those recovery from illness. But also for practitioners who want to take things a little more gently.

As with all the classes we teach, we encourage students to cultivate awareness so that they fully connect with their inner world.

All our Gentle Hatha and Restorative classes will include a full 30 minute Yoga Nidra practice.

At Grassroots Yoga and Meditation, we offer classes in English, Spanish and Catalan. As well as teaching in yoga studios we also offer classes online.
