A meditation practice to support your health and wellbeing.
A practice of concentration on the steadiness of the body.
Please find yourself a quiet place, where you can sit comfortably undisturbed for approximately eight minutes.
We are delighted to share with you this short meditation practice.
It is a technique in which you will start to learn the practice of Dharana (concentration).
We invite you to practise regularly, it is far better to practise for five or ten minutes each day, than to try to sit for one hour once a week.
This technique we are introducing to you here is called Kaya Sthairyam, which translates as Body stillness. It is a practice of concentration on the steadiness of the body.
This recording is the first 3 stages of the practice, in total there are 12 stages of this practice.
In the process of meditation, adopting body stillness is essential for progression of the practice.
We hope from listening to this recording, it will help support you in your daily life. We look forward to sharing more with you over the coming weeks and months.
